Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. seeks to play a role in helping to cultivate girls as they grow into young ladies who are well-rounded and will embody the qualities needed to be good students and productive citizens. We feel this can be best achieved through action that will contribute to the overall well-being of the Rhosebud.

Theta Sigma Sigma strives for excellence for our young affiliates. Delicate like the petals of a rosebud, this affiliate group is handled with special care and attention. TSS provides our Rhosebuds with the beginnings of “Greater Service, Greater Progress” via educational excellence, community service, the value of kindness, fundraising, and the strength in unity.

On December 11th, 2021 the Theta Sigma Sigma chapter welcomed twelve new girls to our Rhosebud Club. Understanding that socks are the most requested donation item, their first service initiative was a holiday sock drive where they collected 404 pairs of socks for our neighbors at Good Counsel Homes and MADE Transitional Service in Rockland, NY. Monetary donations were used to purchase 196 additional pairs.


MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for membership in the Rhosebud Club of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, a girl must be invited by a member of the Rhosebud Club or a Soror of the local chapter.
In addition, she must:
a. Be between the ages of 8-11 years old
b. Submit a completed application
c. Exhibit good standards of character and conduct.
d. Show willingness to follow all rules and regulations of the Rhosebud Club and participate in Rhosebud sponsored activities.
