Mission
It is the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action. Our goal is to achieve greater progress in the areas of education, health awareness, and leadership development. Our members, affiliates, staff, and community partners work to create and support initiatives that align with our vision.
Vision
We visualize a world in which all women and their families reach their full potential in all aspects of life and are able to create unlimited opportunities for future generations.
Scholarship
In keeping with the mission and vision of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc, Theta Sigma Sigma continuously seeks to provide opportunities for ladies of the next generation to be greater.

All young women of our service area (NY resident of Dutchess, Orange, Ulster counties) who are graduating high school seniors and have demonstrated their ability to lead are encouraged to apply for this year's award.

Eligibility & Application Requirements

2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale OR 80% on a 0-100 scale

Academic reference (teacher or school counselor)

Character reference (pastor, coach, employer, mentor). This CANNOT be a family member.

If you are a Rhoer you will need a recommendation letter from any financially active Soror.

All letters should be addressed to TSS Scholarship Committee.
