Soror Wright Fields was recently awarded a Spencer Education Grant to continue research surrounding social justice and equity in education. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Education. She is an activist scholar who is interested broadly in race, culture, and identity in education. She has published work exploring institutional racial paralysis, African-centered education, faculty-led equity work, and inclusive pedagogy and practice in teacher education.
