Soror Scott is the Director of the Business Advising within the School of Business at SUNY New Paltz. She is married (David Scott – Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc) with two children (Tylen and Rhoer, Tiana Scott). She is a dedicated member of her community and serves on the boards of the Mid-Hudson Valley Community Foundation, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union DEI Consortium, Northern Dutchess NAACP, and is Vice President of Professionals for the United University Professionals.

Soror Scott is a Deaconess at her church, Beulah Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie, NY, as well as a Youth Membership class instructor. She serves on the Scholarship Ministry, Co-Vice President of the Couples Ministry and assists with the Jr. Deaconess Ministry.
